Section of the Ebey Waterfront Trail to close for two weeks

EVERETT — More than 500 feet of the Ebey Waterfront Trail will be closed for two weeks starting Monday.

The section of trail, on the west side of the Marysville wastewater treatment plant at 80 Columbia Ave., will be closed for construction until Jan. 26, a press release said. The closure will start about a third of a mile from the Ebey Waterfront Park trail entrance.

People wanting a long walk on the Ebey trail can park at the new Ebey Waterfront Trailhead at 4922 61st St. NE.

The treatment plant construction is intended to help improve efficiency.
