Deuxcents
(24,576 posts)1. That's what it's supposed to do but our leaders can't or don't want to participate..we gotta subsidize coal
Instead of being pro active. The thinking process is not in gear when $$ talks instead of reality. Its maddening how backwards we can be

(129,051 posts)2. Political money and investments. Solar would save money for schools
if they put solar panels on their roofs. But GOP does not want public schools to do well. They only like money when it goes to the right wing.
Deuxcents
(24,576 posts)3. Agreed. Florida says it's the Sunshine State but people hit all kinds of roadblocks trying to install solar panels
Mostly from insurance companies and of course, our governor, who has banned certain words from official records pertaining to climate. Just nuts
