White House again hints at tariff changes ahead of Tuesday's deadline - CBC News




While U.S. President Donald Trump is adamant that tariffs will hit Canada, Mexico and China on Tuesday, his commerce secretary repeatedly hinted on U.S. media that Canada may not get hit full force with 25 per cent tariffs after all.

Is Trump just making up tariff targets and numbers on whatever whim hits him at the moment and everyone just goes along with that being official policy as if he's some kind of infallible guru. If they were really serious about trying to achieve something with them they would have economists figuring out the best way to implement them. Not a senile crackpot who can't remember what he even says the next day.

because he's a mafioso boss trying to scare his target into submission. If he sees his opponent not taking the bait and fighting back, he has to force his hand for fear of being seen as weak. We, as a country will face severe consequences for his insanity. Many countries will form a coalition and gang up on the US like never seen before.
