VP Joseph Biden Swears In Cory Booker

Published on Oct 31, 2013

From C-SPAN2's LIVE coverage, Cory Booker is sworn into the U.S. Senate by Vice President Joe Biden. Booker won a special election in October to fill the seat held by the late Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ).

Watch the complete Senate session here:

Short and sweet! Listen to the applause. A commentor said when the video panned out, not one Republican was there, sadly.

They hate government and everything it stands for. They're doing all they can to undermine, corrupt, and destroy it.

They only thing about government they don't have an objection to is taking a pay check from it, benefits, and perks, and being able to funnel money to their cronies.

How is it that almost everyone who leaves Congress leaves a millionaire? Some weren't millionaires when they first got elected, and they sure didn't do it on the salary they receive. How is it that so many become millionaires while in Congress?

I forgot that the swearing in was today!

The oath "support and defend the constitution..." No wonder the GOP wasn't there. They are embarrassed (not) that they have not followed the oath that they all took.

Kudos to Senator Cory Booker!
