Best President ever. This White House has shown not only great dignity and grace they have done it under fire. Most hated by some, yet most loved by many. Our first Black President and his very loving and giving family. They have given us so much respect. Sadly, we have been remiss in returning it.
Their babies turned out to become such beautiful young ladies. I can't even imagine how hard it has been for them. Children are not stupid, they know what has been said about them and their mom and dad. They have been vilified. Yet they hold their heads high. It can't be easy.
Thank you my sweet first family, it will leave a hole in my heart when you leave.

When I went to the Gullah Museum in Georgetown, SC, last July, one of the highlights was viewing and hearing the story of a quilt celebrating Michelle's life made by Bunny Rodrigues. The third square on the right-hand side depicts her wedding. It is very interesting that Mrs. Rodrigues used an image of Michelle lying on a bench with her head in Barack's lap. I think it is very cool.

I loved that she used it for the quilt. I don't allow myself to dwell on how much we are going to miss them. We must enjoy every minute we have!

Yes, they are an amazing family and work as a unit. I has been a gift having them in the White House.
