just turned to C-SPAN to hear the rest of Obama's speech in Flint

Here I am watching the president speech in Flint, Michigan, when MSNBC decided I didn't need to hear anymore… So I turn to C-SPAN, to hear the rest! Damn the media!

They'd telecast it down to his very last word!

2. C'mon, it's Flint. The woes of us "Negroes" don't make for compelling ratings driven tv.

This is a problem we've known existed all along. Unless & until it affects White America, it's just not as important. Corporate media has a lot to do with the disparities we experience in this country. They decide what issues get attention. The POTUS will bring the presidential spotlight with him, but when I hear his administration being blamed for some crap that Rick Snyder & his emergency managers did, it pisses me off to no end.

Listening to him put forth his plans and talk about the community of Flint's needs is exactly why I tuned in. Having them cut away to a reporter who is telling me what Obama is saying is just idiocy. I want to hear our President in his own voice and his own words! Not filtered through a talking head.

Rachel Maddow on Seth Meyers tonight thinks it's 50/50 chance of Trump becoming POTUS.

And we would have the Fourth Estate to blame and crucify. If Trump would let us.
