On the other hand, I have never believed that Jesus would be in favor of abortion, unless it was the result of rape or incest, or the mother’s life was in danger.

when you take the oath of office, you swear to uphold the laws of the land.

Your personal beliefs are willingly superseded by the authority of the office you sought.

That sounds like an applicable 'litmus test' for me.
