This coming week's MarketWatch calendar (July 13-17). June CPI expected to be MINUS 0.2%
both the regular ("all items" ) CPI, and the core CPI (the core CPI doesn't have food or energy). Fuel prices have come down somewhat in June from the worst, affecting the regular CPI, but I'm surprised they are predicting a big decline in a measure that doesn't have energy prices (the core CPI). That's on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, they are predicting the regular producer price index, PPI (that's wholesale prices) to decline by 0.2%, while the core PPI is expected to INCREASE +0.3%.
Sometimes the people at Marketwatch make mistakes in putting this thing together. Also, I've often seen the Predicted change on some items too from earlier versions of the same calendar.
It's a very busy week with the two inflation measures (CPI, PPI), also retail sales, and consumer sentiment, to list the ones most often reported here at DU.
The 2 numbers on each line are Predicted (forecast) followed by Previous. There are no Actual's yet because I scraped the calendar before July 13.
