I am in the process of looking for a new position and after updating my on-line resume, I have received several calls from recruiters. Are there issues with having more than one looking for jobs for me?

(3,387 posts)Ask if the recruiter deals with the outfit's "PRIME" vendors because you won't even get a nod if not. There are a lot of shops that now contract out a 3rd party HR as well, and these outfits are rarely useful in placing you before a company hiring manager. Those folks aren't interested in dealing with this hiring stuff - hence the 3rd party for everything from hiring to payroll to help the company avoid liability and accountability. Also, bottom-feeding recruiters get paid per submission and could care less if they score a hire - your resume will be submitted to the great circular file.
Here's hoping your experience in The Hunger Games varies, and you find some honesty and integrity in hiring practices.
