About a class action settlement

In early Oct., I got a folded postcard about a settlement for a class action lawsuit settlement against Capital One. The card is perforated, so you fill out one side and mail it. On the side to mail, you fill in a case number. I found the number at the top of the piece I'm mailing. Below that, you get a choice of payment options. If you use any online method, you add your email associated with the online method. Anyone who looks at the postcard being mailed will see my name, address, case number, the method of payment, and the email for the online account.
I opted to get a paper check. I don't think the payout is worth exposing my online accounts. Geez.
