Has anyone (vegan) contacted Burger King and others to ascertain whether or not the
vege burgers are cooked where no beef is cooked and that there's no crossing of utensils? I have emailed BK directly but have received no response. It is important info for me cuz I'm allergic to beef. If you've contacted them and received a response could you please post the information? Thanks,

(14,964 posts)button on register for a no meat cross contamination method of cooking the Impossible Whopper. The cashier is supposed to give you the option/verify that you are/aren't a vegan while placing the order.
It's funny that I came across this post, this conversation just came up with my neighbor yesterday.

(3,880 posts)guess it's small steps meaning that at some future point these fast food places will realize that a no-meat accommodation includes how it is prepared as well.

(4,187 posts)It's only in the first world that people are able to support the kind of extreme cruelty and inhumanity that goes on at factory farms -- and are also able to say no to it.

(29,905 posts)They have a legitimate beef allergy. It happens. I believe it's a bite from the Lone Star tick that can cause allergies to mammalian flesh. My daughter's friend actually has it.
