Save Vaquitas from Extinction: Only 6-8 remain!

In Defense of Animals.org

Swimming quietly in waters off the coast of Mexico's Gulf of California are the most endangered marine mammals on Earth - Vaquitas.

These very shy porpoises are dangerously close to disappearing forever.

Fewer than 10 individuals remain, according to a 2024 survey.

Tell the Mexican Government to take urgent action: fully enforce the laws to prevent these special animals from going extinct!

I envision a species resurrection sometime within the next 25 years. Gotta stop watching, "Foundation" I suppose. It has improved my bowel movements nevertheless.

Wonder if they will breed in captivity? I would hate having to do that, but like many other species, it may be the only way to save them.

Thanks for the link.
