The very first "peace talks" back in 2022 were absolutely meaningless. The goal was to humiliate Ukraine and justify the invasion. Next peace talks in 2023 achieved nothing as well. Fast forward to 2025, peace talks are happening once again in Turkey. But this time Zelensky and Ukraine came prepared. They no longer played Putin's game. This time, Zelensky skilfully outplayed Putin in his own political game and humiliated him. He also showed the world and especially Donald Trump the real face of Putin. Alliances started shifting. And Trump is left very confused.
