China Profits Collapse - Joe Blogs
In this video I discuss the crash in industrial profits in China which confirms the pressure that Chinese companies and the Chinese Economy is under. The fall in profitability is the result of both falling demand and falling prices which is a major problem for China as both of these factors are outside the control of the authorities. The poor performance is particularly worrying as the full impact of Donald Tump's tariffs is yet to feed through into the figures and all of these issues represent serious challenges for the Chinese Economy.
