"Trust me, bro" diplomacy: Lukashenko defends Putin's war - Break the Fake - TVP WORLD

Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko has once again outdone himself – this time claiming he knows Russia isn't bombing Ukrainian cities... because Vladimir Putin told him so. The “Trust me, bro” defense has now become a part of Belarusian foreign policy. According to Lukashenko, Putin assured him Russian forces would never target schools or kindergartens. Meanwhile, reality tells a very different story: from Kharkiv to Lviv, schools, hospitals, and apartment buildings have been bombed since day one of the invasion. In this latest episode of Break The Fake, Benjamin Lee breaks down Lukashenko's narrative and exposes the propaganda behind it. If Lukashenko truly believes his own words, then the missiles aren't the only things flying blind.
