Venezuela in Deep Trouble - Joe Blogs
Venezuela is facing one of its toughest moments in years. Inflation has surged back into triple digits, food prices are unaffordable, and U.S. sanctions are biting even harder. At the same time, the United States has launched a major military build-up in the Caribbean deploying seven warships, a nuclear submarine, and over 4,500 Marines.
U.S. forces recently struck and destroyed a boat that Washington claims was carrying 11 Venezuelan terrorists and drugs bound for the United States. President Trump says the operation is proof that Maduros regime is still working with cartels to flood America with narcotics.
In this video, I break down:
The U.S. naval build-up off Venezuelas coast
The attack on the alleged drug-running vessel
Venezuelas inflation and economic crisis
Why U.S. sanctions are crippling the economy
The collapse in oil revenues and the Bolívar
What all of this means for Maduros future
