Russia hits three Turkish vessels as Zelenskyy visits war-torn Kupiansk - Ukraine Brief - TVP WORLD

A new peace plan could see Ukraine join the EU by 2027, potentially reshaping the bloc’s enlargement rules.

On Friday, President Zelenskyy visited war-torn Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, where Ukrainian forces recently reclaimed the northwestern outskirts of the city from Russian units and isolated those that had infiltrated it earlier.

Russia continued its attacks with drones and missiles, hitting residential areas in Ukraine. Likely in response to recent Ukrainian strikes on tankers linked to the Russian "Shadow Fleet" in the Black Sea, Russian missiles and drones hit a total of three Turkish vessels in Odesa.

Ankara called for measures to suspend attacks threatening navigation safety, and Turkish President Erdoğan proposed a limited ceasefire to protect energy facilities and ports, offering Turkey as a venue for talks in any format.
