as surgery scheduled for Wednesday, exact time unknown.
Will leave home tomorrow afternoon for Johns Hopkins in Baltimore; daughter who lives in NJ will meet me Tuesday, and I'll see MD daughter regularly. Surgeon said expect to stay in hospital 2 nights.
Hope to see a good Brit show from 9 p.m., Endeavor on Masterpiece. WISH I drank, but it's not usually interesting to me.
FULL MOON tonight.

(21,976 posts)I can relate to how you're feeling, because I've had a couple of major surgeries that I was VERY nervous about (plus some minor ones that I didn't lose too much sleep over). There's a point where you know you're going to have to put your trust in the surgeons, knowing that it is truly out of your hands, and man, is that a weird feeling! But at the same time, there is nothing like that feeling when it's all over, and you realize, "Hey, I made it through!" You will be so happy to know it's done and it was successful! So keep your eyes on the prizes and it will be over before you know it!
And wow, just look at all the people you have pulling for you here at DU! I pray that you will be lifted up by all of this support, and that it, together with the support of your family members, will carry you safely through this and out the other side with great results!

(3,975 posts)while trusting the doctors, it helps a lot. Once you are there, give yourself in to the entire experience, it will also help you to relax.
You will be fine...Good luck.

I totally get it, I had my wisdom teeth removed at 54. I was scared as hell, and this place helped me through it.

Looking forward to hearing from you when you get out!
