Dr. Howard Luks trail runner, explains his stretching

Routine.

My stretching routine?

Bending over to tie my sneakers.

Seriously… static stretching doesn’t minimize injuries.

Warm ups do.

Walk a while before you run.

Jog before you sprint.

Yoga is wonderful.

Static stretching can weaken the stretched muscle.

If you enjoy it… do it.

If you don’t and stress over it, you don’t have to start
