I highly recommend "Black Rabbit"
A new Netflix show. It's pretty dark and full of despicable characters. But it's very well written and acted. I'm on E5 and can't wait to see how it turns out.

I'll be shocked. What a powerful show with amazing performances.

(32,954 posts)3. I agree. Black Rabbit is excellent.
Both Jason Bateman and Laura Linney (worked together in Ozark) each directed two episodes of Black Rabbit.
It seems that a lot of new shows--I just started following Task on HBO Max--are very dark.

(1,631 posts)4. Thought it was just ok.
Too many improbable plot points to make it top shelf for me. For instance, the Bateman character gets a finger cut off and its treated like a minor wound. Thought the cinematography of lower Manhattan was exemplary and it was the best part of the series.
