Mental Health Support
Related: About this forumMet with my psychiatrist yesterday
I'm feeling a bit better. My SO knocked out 6 Guiness yesterday. I didn't say anything.
I told my Dr that my anxiety is off the charts, with a constant feeling of doom that something bad is going to happen. He's up my anxiety meds, told me to try not to overuse, and I'm seeing him in one month. Not three.
Concerns: cost of TMJ tx/ lease being renewed/ my SO damaged the floor and I'm worried about blowback from that/ my data was compromised by the moveit hack/finding an affordable place to live/ my SO may get opiods again and overuse. I'm not surprised I'm constantly anxious.
TY for reading and your alls support.

Isn't it horrible? I have GAD. I distract myself with DU and puzzles

You are not responsible for the actions of others in any way, shape, or form. Al-Anon might be helpful for you. It sure was for me. Best of luck. and remember, you can always come here to vent!

(11,809 posts)as being "addicted" to one's mental health meds. There's a huge difference between them and opioids.

(339 posts)It at least takes that horrid feeling out of your chest so that you can begin to think about things in a more organized fashion vs spinning.
Non addictive - worth taking a chance on a vial of the sublingual drops. Yes, a bit expensive but you are worth it.
