Arrgh! Lebkuchen and Stollen

Are already in the stores. Lebkuchen is the larger gingerbread cooks. Many times with a chocolate icing. The small ones are here also.

Just out of curiosity, I checked the sell by date in a couple of different brands. They should all last past Christmas.

Expect all kinds of German goodies, including the first of the Christmas cookies. If you want the chocolate covered marzipan, you have to grab it before early November.

Year round. I'm waiting for the Christmas chocolate gauntlet we have to run to get to the cash registers....
Some are alcohol filled.
