Spicy Szechuan Noodles. Mollie Katzen recipe. Has peanut butter, tamari, wine vinegar, dark sesame oil, hot chili oil, and cucumber. Over the top, I'll sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions.

Shrimp dumplings.

Kombucha: cherry-ginger.

Dessert: Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

By any chance do you have a recipe to go with that?

I'm doing a spicy black bean soup for supper tonight. Weather turned cool here on Friday, and soups really seem to hit the spot. There's leftover chicken soup from last night for the guys that don't want to eat my black bean soup... and plenty of biscuits and fresh baked bread to go with it all!

Mine is from my hardbound copy of New Recipes from Moosewood Restaurant.

I was hoping it might be online but it's not. However, if you're not in a rush, I'll look around online using my recipe as the basis and see if someone copied Mollie. People copy her recipes a lot, so it might just be out there under another recipe title.

Italian sweet sausages cut into two-inch chunks, sautéed in a stew pot with onions, garlic, chunks of green peppers and a handful of spices. Then we added two large cans of tomato sauce. Cooked for four hours and stirred frequently. It’ll be served over spaghetti with garlic bread, a Caesar salad and a bottle of Chianti.

Orange slices and dark chocolate for dessert.

I wish everyone a healthy and successful week! Eat well.

I think I have some of those fat WW udon from TJ’s in the cupboard (I love them for work lunches because they’re precooked and only need to be heated up) and if I can motivate off my lazy Sunday arse, I may join you.

Had enough leftover from yesterday for a second meal. I added some ground vegan chorizo from Trader Joe’s and some more fresh cut tomatoes. Also made a cucumber salad as a side. Cheers!🥂
