Vegetable lasagna. I made only a few servings in the slow cooker.

Zucchini fries. Making these in my air fryer.

Kombucha: cherry-ginger.

Dessert: None 'cuz I had biscotti after lunch. Cocoa hazelnut. It was good!

3. Turkey dinner

We're having a friend over for dinner. He's Ducky's best pal.

Roast Turkey breast with sides such as stuffing, green beans with petite potatoes, macaroni and cheese, as well as fresh baked dinner rolls. I'm sure there is more, but I don't recall.

Ducky is very aware of the turkey and puts his front paws on my leg and stares into my eyes. The message seems to be clearly "be aware of me and my hunger." Sometimes there is a different message for these actions and it might be hard to figure out. For instance "my piggy toy flew out of my mouth and is in the top of the floor lamp" was particularly hard.

I've told him Peter is coming and now he's perched on the back of the couch looking out his window to the drive.

I don't have much direct interaction with humans, so he's all I've got to talk about.

Will be making air-fried wild caught sockeye salmon fillets with a Dijon mustard coating. Sides will be oven roasted seasoned zucchini spears and parsley red potatoes. Cheers!🥂

12. Leftover meatloaf

Leftover string beans from a Szechuan restaurant, bulked up with more beans, bought today. And some shredded cabbage fried with shredded red onion and shredded apple, in a sort of German side dish.

The overall effect was eclectic, but tasty. I like leftovers.
