Later today a friend and I are going to vote together then go to a late breakfast early lunch. I noticed a new restaurant last week, I Can't Believe it's Vegan (https://cantbelieveitsvegan.biz/) and their menu looks interesting

1. Broccoli-Cheddar Breakfast Frittata with Roasted Potatoes

TOMORROW

This frittata features a rich egg mixture, white cheddar cheese, and roasted broccoli. Served alongside seasoned, roasted potatoes.

Decaf coffee with cream +sugar. Larger than expected, so may have 1/2 today, and 1/2 tomorrow.

MIGHT start with a ripe Bartlett pear, my favorite current fruit whose sibling I had for Monday lunch.

2. Sounds like fun

If this is a new restaurant, this person running it has experience from some other place. I can tell from the way the menu is written. If you go, please tell us about what you ordered. I watched the video and read the menu.

3. Coffee with cream

Oatmeal with chopped pink lady apples and pecans.

Voted absentee on Friday. Used the drop box near our home.

4. Coffee is brewing

I'll likely have fresh fruit with some plain Greek yogurt and my usual toasted whole grain English muffin.

No voting in my schedule today. I voted absentee weeks ago in person. Yep, "absentee in person", a contradictory phrase.

I have a checkup at the dentist midday and I've marked my calendar to go by and see if I can get COVID and flu vaccines at the independent local pharmacy. I delayed the COVID vaccine since my bout with COVID in September.

No sign of my canine companion this morning. I'll bet he'll appear when he smells the toast. He's just a fair weather friend!

5. Talk about a fair weather friend

Since the weather turned colder, my cat Oliver has stolen my office chair. He will not give it back and it is impeding my work performance.

When asked where my expense reports are, I can’t say my cat stole my office chair because it sounds so “dog ate my homework.”

No vote today in Indiana. We need to go to town and buy groceries at Aldi's. Loretta and I both have 10 dollars each of free slot play at our casino, so we'll probably stop there.
