Received some gardening feedback
On Sunday I put in a few afternoon hours at the greenhouse and working in the raised beds.
Next door to the school is a church where there are basketball courts in the parking lot. Most afternoons a group of guys shoot hoops.
Today they were finished with their basketball playing, and were walking past the garden when one of them stopped and asked me if I was watering the flowers. I responded that yes I was.
So this cute guy in a hoodie with his basketball said good—because we like flowers. His fellow basketball-carrying friends nodded.
It was very sweet and unexpected for a guy to come over and admit that he likes flowers. In front of his buddies! And his buddies all nodded in agreement.
Kids are always good for a surprise. 🙂
