I've started the Spring garden work.

My first project is to remove as much of the Grape Hyacinth as possible. I was out there for 3 hours and finally made a dent. I only stopped because, well, I ran out of energy, felt light headed and my hands started to tremble. Seemed a good sign that I was over doing it. I might go out later. Then again, I might not. I think 3 hours is enough for the first day being back to gardening. I also think I've earned a beer.

Enjoy your beer. Three hours is enough. Time for some snuggles with the kiddos. Polly Hennessey Apr 14 #1
Three hours is a lot! You deserve a rest for a job well done. UPDATED MIButterfly Apr 14 #2

I have about five little weeds in the dirt on my patio. It would probably take me five minutes to pull them but I have to work up the desire and energy first.

Maybe tomorrow.......

Obviously, I meant to respond to Siwsan's post. Oops.

The plants that are the prettiest and the most fragrant are the most invasive.
I’m looking at you Wisteria.

I'm saving some to put them in the corner of the back lot and let them take over. They could take over the entire lot, for all I care. They do have an amazing fragrance but they are starting to overtake the Daffodils, Tulips, Hyacinth and everything else that grows in the front garden.
