Haven't done it since the kids were younger. Living in Bear Country, it's kind of a dangerous undertaking. My oldest was a teen, and I'd make hm go outside and pee on the tree and ground in the backyard near the compost bin... the testosterone in the urine keeps them away (old camping trick).
Fun side note... make the boy mad before he goes outside to pees = more Testosterone in the urine! LOL
