Sitting on the back porch earlier around 04:45 having coffee i heard a familiar snort at the gate in the dark.
Dunc immediately went to greet our guest Otis the neighbors mooch lab who lives down the road.
So I text the neighbors telling them that Otis is here. And she text back with a emoji smile and text that read I just let him out send him home when you’re tired of him.
I’m off with Covid this week I replied he’s fine and Otis can hang as long as he wants.
No brag yet i do think Otis loves my ice cube recipe as i changed out Duncs water. I dropped a couple of ice cubes in the bowl and Otis crunched at least three cubes.
After the mess hall served dry brown rocks and green beans. Otis and Dunc then sniffed the yard and dropped their loads.
Then the neighbor went to the gate with one of Duncs best sticks in his mouth
Alerting me he had to get home in time for second breakfast.

You are so lucky to have Dunc and Otis for company, and of course they are lucky to have you.
