FIRE's @1AMorey wrote to Kentucky today with a reminder about the law.

Just a reminder; this works both ways. It is similarly a constitutionally-protected exercise if pro-life demonstrators mock pro-choice demonstrators.

You'd think university administrators would know better. They don't.

University of Kentucky violates state, federal law by vowing to investigate students over viral, ‘No uterus, no opinion’ video

Student to demonstrator: ‘Sorry! First Amendment, man.”

FIRE in letter to UK: “Yeah. What she said.”

The viral video spans just 22 seconds.

But the stain on the University of Kentucky’s reputation for threatening a lawful student protest on its public campus may last far longer.
