(21,431 posts)My dad WWII, Navy, Phillipines. I mentioned this on DU b4. Democrat thru and thru. He reposed unexpectedly at 45, aortic aneurysm. I was 13. Big bummer.

(23,397 posts)He was a WWII veteran, suffered through the Bulge, severe frostbite, death all around him. Today we would call it PTSD.
