On Russian players these last 4 years. I think they recognized that players have zero political power in big countries especially.

(A) French players
(B) underdogs
(C) since people attend from all over Europe and many parts of South America, players from their home countries.

Many will and DO blame all of us for Trump. Just as we did (frankly) blame the German people--ALL the German people for Hitler and the Holocaust. It is hard to separate, though I think the most educated and sympathetic peoples of the world see that Trump was only elected by a minority, despite the vote differential. Canadians, in particular seem to see that distinction and extend sympathy to Americans in general.
