A Flicker in the backyard.

Posted these pictures earlier in Photography, asking for identification and found out it is a Flicker — but I forgot all about posting in Birders! Now subscribed.

It let's you identify birds by pictures, songs, or your descriptions of where you saw it.

You can record their songs or calls and it identifies them.

It asks the general size, colors, whether it was flying, on a structure (tree) or on the ground. It is amazing how accurate it is when identifying birds I wasn't familiar with.

Signing up was a bit of a hassle, but it has proven to be one of my favorite apps.

Please give it a look, I have nothing to do with it except as a very happy user.
