Years ago, my brother attended a Stanford charity auction, and the first item was round of golf with Ronnie Lott on Stanford’s golf course for two people.

Being the FIRST item auctioned off, everyone was quiet….except for my brother. He is a golf nut and drove past the course everyday, but wasn’t allowed to play. His bid of a measly fifty dollars was to play the course, not necessarily with Ronnie.

My SIL beat him, and my brother volunteered he would be a good golfer if he could tighten up his miserable short game; his drives off the tee were impressive.
