Big birds, buzzards, eagles, crows, are very efficient at stripping carcasses down to bone. They keep the area clean with minimal smells of decomposition that don't hang around for weeks.

I've always had respect for carrion eaters like these. What's distressful/disgusting for us to deal with is dinner to them.
