Sometimes they roost at the top of the water tower in my neighborhood and spread their wings out to dry

I usually expect them within a day or two of the 3rd (easy to remember -- it was my high school sweetheart's birthday).

(Calvert County,) but not on the road until today, and road CLEAN, so wondering what they'd found.

There used to be a fence beside where they were today, but it was removed so no more good fence views.
