        I never had enough time to explore like I wanted to.

        but the weather was atrocious. What I saw was still beautiful. Our ship occasionally went to a much smaller island that had a fuel depot. As fueling operations didnt include me, I always took the opportunity to take a hike and explore. I once found myself in a clearing with around 15 deer, who were as indifferent to my presence as sheep. Seems hunting had been illegal on this government installation for decades already.
