Warning! Warning! Never fly Asiana Airlines who is owned by Korean Air.

They somehow couldn't load my single bag on my flight after I checked in 2 1/2 hours before my flight from Shanghai. They knew it and flagged my passport so when I went to board flight from Seoul to Ulaanbaatar, they pulled me aside to tell me my suitcase wasn't on the flight.
Followed all their instructions to report it at destination via airport baggage person. Had to use Google Translate to communicate filing out form. I also requested update via form on Asiana website.
It's now been over 24 hours and they have ignored numerous emails and we have received no acknowledgement at all. All of their listed customer service numbers, including the one in US, are not in use. No local number, no local agents, nor ticket desk.
I have been forced not to fly to the Mongolian Golden Eagle Festival tomorrow as I have none of my winter clothing that's in my suitcase.
I have never been more upset and frustrated in all my years of international travel.
Thanks for letting me rant. I will let them and their parent company know what I think over the next week.
