1. one of the funnest afternoons I ever had was the day a JW knocked on my door

It was about this tome of year, nice weather out. I was home not doing much of anything. He knocked at the front door. He had some standard greeting. I asked if he was a JW. He said he was. I said " Great! I am an atheist. I'd sure love to talk to you!"

With that I stepped out of the door and sat down on the steps. (pre-covid days) and invited him to sit with me.

He started with some biblical quotes from a very worn bible. I stopped him almost immediately and started peppering with questions.
We went on like that for about 20 minutes. He was stuttering and stammering and I was just shooting out the questions.

He finally just got up and left after about 20 minutes. I told him I would like him to stay. Then I invited him back anytime and we could do it again.

I looked out my window about 3 hours later and he was in his car parked across the street with his bible propped on the steering wheel and his load moving very fast.

I think I made his day.
