It fell in Vivian, South Dakota on July 23, 2010.

The heaviest hailstone on record, officially recognized by Guinness World Records, weighed 2.25 pounds (1.02 kg) and fell in Gopalganj, Bangladesh, on April 14, 1986.

Dat's a big chunk of ice, eh?
