We desperately need the rain but then I am having a fence built replacing the broken down horse fence. Hmmm. 
It is past time for something big to fire off here, it hardly feels like living in Kansas without some wicked weather. There is a big front headed over right now. It is still a distance away but it looks to be moving this way.
My ponds are so drying up. We have to redo the pond drain in the big pond because it has cracked and leaking, well it was. Then I can get my decoy decoys in and anchor up in the middle on my kayak where nobody can touch me and I can read forever. The decoys are just for tying my little kayak up so I can read without having to worry about having to run in to do something.
This is an actual farm, not a big house with people who come and care for the land and ponds. I do most of it and my husband some. It has to rain quite a bit though. Never made it last year, just a few little trips around. RAIN Please.
