Its time, for me , to go

MrsK ,and LilBit, I still have dreams.
We, will always have thoughts, picture in my mind.
But damn, those dreams. I'm 3 years out from MrsK, a year out from LilBit.
I still have dreams,
It's part of Bereavement . Some can go through it in months, some , take years.
Just do, your schedule, of your loss

1. I was thinking of you last night

We will all always have dreams of those we love forever and those who loved and love us. The pain does ease.

2. Moving on when half your world suddenly isn't there is beyond difficult.

Especially when we're in our golden years. But we do. The hole in your soul never goes away. At best, we just learn to live with it.

3. I like to think of those dreams as visits

from our loved ones no longer on the earthly plane, but still watching over us. Their spirits are still with you.

My Mom has been gone since 2008, and I still have dreams with her in them.

4. I dreamed about my mother last night

and she's been gone 27 years. It's just part of you. Still grieving my brother (2022) and my best friend (2024).

5. I lost my wife of 35 years this past June 24th.

Massive brain bleed stroke on the 23rd. Brain activity ceased evening of the 23rd. She was Do Not Resucitate. On 2:15pm of the 24th, I requested life support removal. My 24 year old son and I were holding her hands, talking to her and weeping. At 2:35 her breathing got shallow and her eyes opened just wide enough to see her pupils and some of that beautiful blue with that “gaze into eternity”. At 2:41, she exhaled her last shallow breath, the monitors went completely flat. The nurse checked her breathing and pulse and said “2:41”. Her funeral is August 8th, followed by internment. I will deliver her eulogy. Grief subsides a bit, then hits you, almost knocking u over. Allow it to happen. Don’t try to tough it out. It’s normal. My healing thoughts go to all of you who have suffered a loss.

13. My mother died from a brain aneurysm 10 years ago..

6. It can take a lot of patience to heal from such world altering losses. All you can

do is just hang in there while time tries to mitigate the open wounds. Don't forget about us when you need a shoulder to cry on!!!
