I don't know how many of you are watching

the "COSMOS" series but as a viewer I find it wonderful that they are showing and giving credit to the many women who in the realm of science have made many meaningful contributions and discoveries. I think it is especially good for the young girls who may, hopefully, be watching and encourage them to perhaps explore taking science related subjects as they travel life's path.

DeGrasse has been brilliant from all accounts. I look forward to "gorging" on the series.

when TV gets unbearable we will have COSMOS waiting for us. I can zap the commercials and just catch the content.

Hope I will have them done and will be ready to DVR the Roosevelts this fall.

I remember in the original with Carl Sagan, he showed the evolution of "man," starting with simple creatures, through reptiles, mammals, apes, etc. At the end, "man" was a woman. Very refreshing.
