I would like to use Barbara Jordan for my avatar.

I like having used Eleanor for a long time now. But Barbara was the first candidate I canvassed for. She inspired me tremendously, and I think she represents the highest standards of the Democratic party.

Can I post my own photo or do I need to ask if a picture of Ms. Jordan can be added to the slate of avatars available?

1. You can make your own.

I've done a few over the years. I'll try to find the size for you. Can't remember off the top of my head - something like 90 x 90.

ETA: "Avatar images will be resized to 48x48 pixels. The maximum file size for avatar images is 10kb.

over the one I have now in my profile page? Where do I put the image I want to use?

3. You have to upload it in "My Profile"...

scroll down to "Avatar Image", click "Upload your own" choose image on your computer and upload it.

4. You need to be a star member (donate money) to upload a custom avatar.
