If i click on the trash can square at the end of a title

Does it just trash can it for me? Or is it trashed for everyone?

Although, I suppose there could be something that works opposite to the Rec feature, where if enough people Trash/hide a thread, it ceases to exist. I wouldn't want such a feature (the Alert/Jury system does fine enough) because many besides myself may use the trash/hide not because I disagree with a post/thread, but because I have already read it and don't want it to continue showing up.
