Calm After the Storm

A message for us all today from the Cloud Appreciation Society

Rosie Knight...spotted these mounds of Cumulus congestus, along with some patches of Altocumulus illuminated in gold and pink by the evening light, over Southampton, England. ‘We’ve recently had some turbulent weather,’ said Rosie. ‘I’ve also had a really rough time myself. But the surprise when I saw this sky out the kitchen window reminded me that there is always calm after the storm.’

Allow yourself a moment to get lost in the changing colours and depths of these clearing clouds

Calm emerging after a storm has long been an inspiration for art

A Road in Auvers after the Rain (NW of Paris) Vincent van Gogh 1890

We have this very Very Calming painting on our wall. Well, possibly it is a couple of hundred dollar knock off by a Chinese copiest...but it is still magical.

Peace
