Should my plants be showing signs of being male by now?

They're about 2' to 2 1/2' now. I live in Michigan and started them from seed.

If outdoors, males should show by now if they are Indica's or a mix - while pure sativa could be longer womanofthehills Jul 4 #12

And should be showing signs of being either male or female. So far, I can't see any indication of seed pods. Guess I'll just have to check them every day.

will put your plants in the flowering stage. I only buy female seeds, but my guess is your plants would have to be in the flowering 12 hour light stage to determine sex.

They will not show until they get enough darkness,if they are around any outdoor lights they will take a long time to start flowering and the flowering process will be drastically changed for the worse.

More than half of my outdoor plants have started budding already - the Indicas. It's a week or two early to start budding, but extreme heat will also make plants start budding earlier. We had a really hot June and everyone I talk to say their plants are budding early. Look really closely - even a couple of white hairs will let you know its a female.

Sounds like you probably have no males.

I'm guessing they should be showing signs soon. Should I look near the top of the plants? The seeds are an Indica/Sativa hybrid. A friend I met here on DU sent me a bunch of seeds (from Australia). I'd be surprised if they were all female. I'll keep an eye on them.
