Presidential Candidate Martin O'Malley to Speak at National Press Club Luncheon on July 23.

He will deliver a policy speech at a National Press Club Speakers Luncheon on July 23.

Since announcing his candidacy in Baltimore's Federal Hill Park on May 30, O'Malley has released a jobs agenda focused on renewable energy, a higher education proposal for high-quality, debt-free college education for students attending in-state public colleges or universities, and earlier this month, an open letter to Wall Street mega-banks calling for stronger reforms. O'Malley is expected to address these and additional policy announcements at the luncheon event. . .

The Press Club luncheon will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. Remarks will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a question-and-answer session, ending at 12:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchase by going to the following LINK. The cost of luncheon admission is $23 for National Press Club member (members can buy two tickets at this price) and $37 for non-members. Tickets must be purchased at time of reservation.

National Press Club Luncheons are webcast live on press.org. Follow the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #NPCLive, or on Facebook at (facebook.com/PressClubDC) and Twitter (@PressClubDC. To submit questions in advance type O'MALLEY in the subject line and send to president@press.org before 8 a.m. on the day of event.

He's rolling out his immigration platform tomorrow but I don't think he'd unveil it during this event.

Love that my candidate is the one talking about policy details and leading on issues. Proud O'Malley supporter.

Has he released his fundraising numbers for the quarter yet?

I don't expect him to match Sanders's numbers but I am hoping for at least $2mm. But, that might be optimistic.

I've donated a few times (small amounts). Wish I could do more as well. The one thing I like about O'Malley is that his campaign isn't spamming us for donations constantly.
