        The side bar goes away when I enlarge text ( ctrl+ ) once beyond my normal setting...

        If it minimized to a "Hamburger" icon, that would be pretty standard and intuitive

        But I don't think it would be too difficult to include as an option. If you removed the sidebar what would you want to happen -- the right side of the screen just filling the space and taking up the whole width?

        ... and presumably shift into mobile device mode.
That's okay for now.
Otherwise I'm enjoying the new features!

        Sometimes I have 2 windows side-by-side on a monitor, and this would help a lot.

        But I think something like this would definitely be possible.
