Every business he started failed badly, so he decided to run for office to grift campaign donations - and the rest is a nightmare of history.

He was a failed businessman turned reality TV host.
He need more publicity and thought he could make some quick cash on
a campaign run. It was a joke and grift.

To his shock Putin was able to install him into the WH.

He was so offensive. I still don't understand how he won against a much more qualified and experienced candidate (my former senator). And after all his crimes this time around, January 6th, stealing classified documents, 2 impeachments and 34 felony convictions, how was he allowed to run, let alone who would vote for that??

Even though they experienced the terror of January 6th, they were afraid for themselves and their families. And another excuse that they used was that, after the violent insurrection, they were sure he was finished anyway.

For a lot less money and perks than the US congress members enjoy.
